Paper Bike Sales are a longstanding tradition that many corporate partners have participated in as part of their efforts to raise funds for the Sun Life Ride to Defeat Diabetes for JDRF. Selling Paper Bikes is another way for companies to build excitement and spread awareness about the Ride. The program is a great way to engage your customers and colleagues in support of JDRF and is easy to implement.
How the JDRF Paper Bike Sales Work
Step 1: Ask a colleague or customer if they would like to purchase a Paper Bike to help support JDRF in the search for a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D).
Step 2: Collect the donation - we suggest donation amounts of $2, $5 or $10.
Step 3: Have the donor write their name or short message on the Paper Bike.
Step 4: Display the signed Paper Bike to help raise awareness for JDRF.
Step 5: Send funds collected through the Paper Bike Sales to JDRF or add them to your team fundraising totals in the Offline Funds section of the Participant Centre.

Important information about the Paper Bike Program:
Tax receipts for offline donations made through the Paper Bike Program will be issued within six to ten weeks after the event for donations of $20 or more.
